Queer Oscar winner and Broadway alum Ariana DeBose has landed her next project, reports Playbill.
According the Deadline, the West Side Story actor is set to executive produce and star in the upcoming movie Two and Only, written by Latina and LGBTQ+ writer Jen Rivas-DeLoose.
The movie has been described as a bisexual, Latinx twist on the 1997 rom-com My Best Friend’s Wedding. The Tony nominee commented on her new role on Twitter, writing, “Let’s try a rom com! So excited to take on a new challenge and learn a thing or two about producing.”
