Scene from “Stage Kiss”
Stage Kiss is a 50-episode Western Boys’ Love (BL) short-form vertical drama optimized for mobile streaming. Adapted from T. E. Dowling’s webnovel You Taught Me to Fly via the Inkitt and CandyJar digital ecosystem, the series stars Felix Merback as Lucas and Sky Kawai as Elijah.
The plot centers on an enemies-to-lovers dynamic within a high school theater department preparing a production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Lucas and Elijah are bitter rivals forced to work together on stage despite their mutual animosity. As rehearsals become increasingly volatile, Elijah prompts Lucas to explore genuine theatrical passion, resulting in an unscripted kiss that shatters the boundary between performance and authentic emotion.
Viewers can stream all 50 bite-sized episodes exclusively on the CandyJar mobile app and official website.
