But as production pushes forward, the eagerly-awaited finale has announced a major shakeup in the cast: Olivia Colman will not be returning to her beloved role as Nick’s mother, Sarah Nelson.
Stepping into the iconic role will be BAFTA-winning actress Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland, Ludwig), who joins the franchise alongside stage and screen veteran Derek Jacobi in a newly announced cameo role.
