The conservative #WalkAway march and rally, described by organizers as a demonstration of “freedom, truth, and national revival,” drew clashes in West Hollywood on Sunday as part of the group’s “American Restoration Tour” ahead of the 2028 midterm elections, reports WEHO TIMES.
Demonstrators gathered around 1 p.m. at the corner of Santa Monica and Robertson boulevards, led by #WalkAway founder Brandon Straka. The group planned to march from West Hollywood to Beverly Hills to protest what they characterize as “aggression and censorship tactics of the radical Left.”
Upon arrival, the pro-Trump demonstrators were met by a large crowd of counter protesters opposing the values of the Trump administration and his supporters. Many of the counter protesters covered their faces with masks, umbrellas and signs, and engaged in confrontational tactics to disrupt the event.
