Trans Latin@ Coalition, Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Center’s Senior Services Division named as charity partners for LA Leather Pride 2025
The Los Angeles Leather Coalition (LALC) has announced that this year’s Charity Partners for LA Leather Pride 2025 (LALP) will be the Trans Latin@ Coalition (TLC) and the Senior Services Division of the LA LGBTQ+ Center.
Each year several deserving local charities are selected to be Charity Partners for the coming year. Charity Partners work with the LAC all year and receive grants of proceeds of the LALP in excess of costs and reserves to help them carry on their important work. This year, they are delighted to include the Trans Latin@ Coalition as a new Charity Partner!
Founded in 2009, The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) emerged as a grassroots movement led by a group of Transgender, Gender Expansive, and Intersex (TGI) immigrant women in Los Angeles. Recognizing the urgent and unique needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants in the United States, these trailblazers came together to create a space for advocacy, empowerment, and direct support. Over the years, TLC has grown into a nationally recognized organization with representation in 10 states across the U.S. While continuing to advocate for systemic change, TLC also provides direct services to TGI individuals in Los Angeles.
As part of the Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Center, the world’s largest LGBTQ support organization, the Senior Services Division has the distinct pleasure of serving the people who lived and fought for the hard-earned gains of the LGBTQ+ movement: our elders. Expanding the Center’s holistic model of care with a progressive vision for aging and community, our team provides our seniors with everything from affordable housing to healthcare, employment navigation and case management, legal services, and more than 100 programs and activities that offer a forum for some of the Center’s most joyous gatherings.
LALC is very grateful for the ongoing support of the Senior Services Division for our annual LA LA Leather concert series, this year being held in the gorgeous Renberg Theatre on the LA LGBTQ+ Center campus.
