In a real-life fairytale ending worthy of its own musical number, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series stars Frankie Rodriguez and Joe Serafini have announced their engagement.
The actors, who first met on the set of the hit Disney+ series in 2019, took to social media to share the news with fans, posting photos showcasing the milestone moment.
Rodriguez and Serafini originally made television history on the show playing Carlos Rodriguez and Seb Matthew-Smith, respectively. Their characters formed a groundbreaking romance that earned praise from audiences and critics alike as one of the franchise’s most prominent LGBTQ+ storylines.
What began as an on-screen partnership quickly blossomed into a off-screen connection, with the pair publicly confirming their real-life relationship shortly after the show’s first season aired.
