Gregg Araki’s long-awaited feature return, I Want Your Sex, is a satirical, pansexual erotic comedy-thriller co-written with sex columnist Karley Sciortino.
The film follows Elliot (Cooper Hoffman), a sexually frustrated twenty-something who becomes the personal assistant and submissive erotic muse to Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde), a dominant art-world provocateur.
As their power dynamics dissolve into obsession, art-world satire, and a chaotic murder mystery, Elliot’s transformation strains his relationships with his uptight girlfriend (Charli xcx) and repressed roommate (Chase Sui Wonders).
Celebrating Araki’s signature needle drops and campy aesthetics, the film tackles modern intimacy, BDSM, and Gen Z sexual politics with a star-studded ensemble that also features Mason Gooding, Johnny Knoxville, Margaret Cho, and Daveed Diggs.
I Want Your Sex is scheduled for a U.S. theatrical release on July 31, 2026, via Magnolia Pictures.
