JOEY BYRNE

MR. EAGLE 562 LEATHER 2020

Joey is the current reigning Mr Eagle562 Leather 2020. He is also the current Mr Gay Pride Long Beach. His platform is all about community, as he wants to make the leather community more known in other aspects of the LGBTQIA2+ community. He identifies as an introverted-extrovert. He started working with the Imperial Court of Long Beach behind the scenes during COIVD, as a way to stay connected with other organizations, and have a greater network when COVID restrictions were lifted. Year to Date he ha raised over $10,000 dollars for charities, South Coats Chorale, LALC-CARES, and United Waves Scholarship Fund, to name a few. In 2019 he was presented with the Next Generation Award at the Southland Honors. He REALLY loves the color MAGENTA, and flags it on the left and the right.

COLTON STENKE

EAGLE LA MR. LEATHER 2020

A Los Angeles native, Colton is an Alpha Pup, a Cigar Daddy, a member of the Payasos, and a big ole teddy bear. Colton lives for a pool party, flagging Yellow and Green on the left, Cigars and Cigar Play, Motorcycle Riding, Nudism, and waits for the day there is a hanky code for having a pack or a huge family. Basically, he just wants to see everyone included. In 2021 he created the Tutu’s and Heel’s walk to bring people together and to raise funds for Camp Brave Trails – a summer camp that gives LGBTQ youth a place to grow into the brave leaders they are destined to be. Colton believes that bringing people together is important and every time you take the time to be a mentor, or stand up for someone else, we are ALL better for it.

JOE CLOPTON

MR. CSW LEATHER 2020

Introduced to the leather scene in 2013, Joe feel in love with the community and the activism surrounding it. He loves exhibitionism, bondage, uniforms, sensory deprivation and role play. “I am very adventurous and love to try new things”… The reason I ran for a title initially was to raise awareness about addiction within the community, provide resources to those seeking help, and produce fundraisers for treatment and recovery programs.

ROMYN ONYX

Romyn was born and raised in sunny Southern California with has a sunny disposition to match. Usually found can frolicking amongst the critters and pups or having a good time with their friends. Romyn’s sexual expression and desires have played a large part in their exploring the kink and leather spaces, ever since coming into the community in late 2018. With a passion for debauchery, Romyn loves adding new fetishes to the ever-growing “to try” list. As a self-proclaimed brujito, Romyn is always seeking ways to incorporate spirituality within his kink practices.

FRANCISCO PERALES

MR. SANCTUARY LEATHER 2019

Francisco Perales aka “The Navy Cub” was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, Francisco joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 18 and did 3 tours in Iraq, one in Kuwait and his last tour in Afghanistan for a total of 5 tours. Francisco is a 10-year war veteran. Currently he resides in Los Angeles, and is a member of the Onyx chapter South West. Francisco has been with Onyx from its initial conception in Los Angeles, he is also on the board for Bears L.A. Francisco has the following titles: Mr. Los Angeles Cub 2016 (The last person to hold this title) Mr. Sanctuary Leather 2019. Francisco works for The V.O.A. Volunteers of America, a nonprofit organization that aims to help homeless veterans find housing and jobs. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Francisco tested over 200 veterans, housed and sheltered over 300 and set the paperwork for over 200 veterans to go get vaccinated. Francisco considers himself to be a heavy BDSM, Kinky and a Demo Artist in the following: flogging, whipping, wax play, sounding, rope rigger just to name a few. You can almost always find Francisco either gogo-dancing, doing demos, or both at your local and out of state leather bars. Francisco lives by the motto “Let nobody set the narrative to your leather journey.”

BRANDON BULLET

MR. BULLET LEATHER 2020 

A native of the Central Valley, Brandon began exploring the world of leather and kink in late 2017. Since then, his experiences within the Los Angeles leather community have lead him to a deeper understanding of himself and the world around him. The people he has met on his journey have come from all walks of life, and have challenged Brandon’s way of thinking on leather, sex positivity, trust, honor and respect. Outside of his life in leather, Brandon is passionalte about music and the arts. He holds a masters degree in music perforamnce, and works as a professional musician in the Los Angeles area. Brandon holds a deep respect for the people who have come before him, and it’s been his mission to welcome future generations into leather while, passing on his passion for its rich history and complex culture. Since early 2020, he’s recorded and shared the personal stories of countless indviduals in the leather and kink community, through his podcast, “Leather Talk with Mr. Bullet Leather 2020.”

CHRISTIAN MEDINA

MR. FAULTLINE LEATHER 2020

Christian was born in Pacoima, CA. Now a full time security guard at UCLA Health. His journey into leather began in 2015 after meeting the Payasos LA and joined them to do ALC 2018. In 2018, he attended his first leather contest at Mr Faultline Leather 2018, attended his first Folsom Street Fair in SF, and joined the Tom of Finland House as a bartender. Christian also bartends at Team Pig, benefiting APLA. Christian is currently raising money for ALC 2022 and will be participating as a roadie for New Bear Republic.I also volunteered as a shopper for The Bullet Pantry to help folks in need of groceries and toiletries. On March 21, 2021 I participated as a gogo dancer and jock model for Bite the Bullet – a fundraiser for LALC Cares and Bullet Bar Pantry. On April 18th I volunteered to sort food for the LA County Regional Food Bank. Also in 2021, I signed up for my fourth year with ALC as a virtual cyclist for the TOGETHERIDE and raised money for the LGBTQ Centers as well as the SF AIDS Foundation. Currently I’m signed up as a roadie for ALC2022 with team New Bear Republic.

ANGEL RINCON

MR. SISTER LEATHER 2020

Angel was born in the city of Colton California in June 40 years ago. Angel is a total cancer and wears his heart on his sleeve. He has participated in the AIDS Life Cycle and was also a member of the PAYASOS where he helped with fundraising for many local and regional organizations. During the pandemic he taught himself how to sew and sold masks from California to France. He identifies as a boy and loves to please people. He also loves his houndstooth and is a happy versatile blouse. A true Butch Queen who is unapologetic about it, he has a little quote he’s become known for: it’s not about me, it’s about the community.

ALAN GABRIEL 

MR. LA LEATHER BEAR 2020

Alan is your current reigning Mr. LA Leather Bear 2020. He a member of Bears LA and an associate member of the Onyx Southwest Chapter. He studied elementary education and achieved both his B.A in Liberal Studies with Math emphasis and his Elementary Teaching Credential at California State University, Long Beach in 2020. He is a teacher for a Public Charter in Hollywood and teaches 3rd & 4th grade. When Alan is not bombarded with work, he enjoys playing Kickball with the Varsity Gay League in Long Beach, playing kinky scenes with his Leather Sir, hanging out with friends at the Eagle LA or the bullet, attending and supporting social events at Reach LA, or just relaxing at home.
