The LA Civil Rights Department and Transgender Advisory Council will be hosting their first in-person TGI2+ Homelessness Prevention and Housing Resource Fair on June 12, 2024, from 9 AM to 3 PM at the California Endowment at 1000 Alameda St., Los Angeles 90012.
The fair aims to provide valuable resources, support, and education for transgender individuals seeking safe, affordable housing options.
At the fair, registrants will have the opportunity to:
- Attend a panel discussion featuring experts and advocates addressing housing discrimination, legal rights, and available resources (from 10 AM to 12:00 PM)
- Explore resource booths hosted by organizations offering housing assistance, support networks, and advocacy services (from 1:00 PM to 3 PM).
- Connect with fellow community members, share experiences, and find solidarity in navigating housing challenges – while also eating the lunch that will be provided!
Whether you are seeking housing assistance, looking to learn more about your rights, or want to connect with others in the transgender community, the TGI Housing Fair is designed to provide support and empowerment for all attendees.
