Abernethy’s at The Music Center has announced Chef Lucio Bedon as its next Emerging Chef-in-Residence, with his residency beginning on September 12, 2025.
Known for his work at L.A.’s Vicini Ristorante & Wine Bar and his experience at Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy, Chef Bedon will bring a menu inspired by his time in Southern California and his Italian roots.
The menu will feature dishes like Risotto Porcini and Tagliatelle Bolognese for dinner and Bananas Foster French Toast for brunch. Abernethy’s, located on Jerry Moss Plaza, features a rotating chef program to highlight Los Angeles’ diverse culinary talent.
Chef Bedon, who was raised in Italy, expressed his excitement to share dishes that “are rooted in tradition and memory.”
