Kieron Moore. “Blue Film”
Rising director Elliot Tuttle is set to challenge contemporary perspectives on identity with his upcoming feature, Blue Film, a provocative gay drama that delves into the intersection of transactional sex and genuine human connection.
The project, which has already generated significant buzz in independent film circles, promises a raw, character-driven look at the complexities of the modern digital age.
The film stars Kieron Moore, who recently earned critical acclaim for his breakout performance in Boots, as Aaron Eagle. Eagle is a young man navigating the high-pressure, highly visible world of “camboy” culture and professional sex work.
Opposite Moore is veteran actor and Tony Award winner Reed Birney, best known for his devastatingly powerful turn in the 2021 drama Mass. Birney portrays Hank Grant, a former teacher who enters Aaron’s life, sparking a complex and unexpected relationship that forces both men to reckon with their pasts and their current identities.
Industry insiders confirm that Blue Film has completed principal photography and is currently in the final stages of post-production.
Blue Film is scheduled to make its world premiere on the festival circuit in late 2026, with a wider theatrical and streaming release expected to follow in early 2027.
