$4.9 Million Grant Approved For LGBT Center’s New Anita May Rosenstein Campus

Work’s already started on the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s new Anita May Rosenstein Campus in Hollywood, but a $4.9 million grant approved by the LA City Council Tuesday should help keep the project on schedule, reports Curbed Los Angeles.

Those funds will go toward the construction of 100 units of affordable housing for seniors, according to an announcement from Councilmember David Ryu. That’s a key feature of the complex, which will also include LGBT Center administrative offices, supportive housing for youths, and 100 shelter beds for young people experiencing homelessness.
