LA LGBT Center Announces 4th Annual “Queerceañera”
The Los Angeles LGBT Center will host its fourth annual Queerceañera on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5:30pm to 10pm at The Village at Ed Gould Plaza in Hollywood.
Reimagining the traditional coming-of-age ritual into a community cotillion, this year’s event centers on the theme “Siempre Contigo” (“Always With You”) with the hummingbird as its visual symbol of ancestry and continuous movement. The program will honor journalist Suzy Exposito for her reporting on queer Latine narratives in the Los Angeles Times’ De Los section.
Transitioning into a ticketed fundraiser, all proceeds directly support the Center’s housing, healthcare, legal, and youth services across Los Angeles.
