Kit Connor, “Heartstopper”
Kit Connor is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to lead a new generation of mutants, landing the iconic role of Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men reboot.
Following his breakout success in Heartstopper, the British actor steps into the tactical leadership role previously held on screen by James Marsden and Tye Sheridan.
Opposite Connor, Stranger Things star Sadie Sink steps into the role of Jean Grey, reviving one of comic book history’s most famous romantic dynamics.
The newly announced ensemble also features Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm.
Directed by Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*), the film marks Marvel’s first dedicated feature bringing the mutant saga into the MCU, currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
