Tim Curry. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”
In a recent interview with Tracy Smith on CBS Sunday Morning, Tim Curry shared a story about meeting Princess Diana and what she told him about The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Curry recalled that he was working with the Royal National Theatre when Princess Diana and Prince Charles came to see a show he was in. When they came backstage, Diana specifically sought him out. She asked, “You were in The Rocky Horror Show, weren’t you?” And Curry replied, “Yes, I was, but I don’t suppose you saw it.”
According to Curry, she responded with a “very wicked smile” and said, “Of course I did. It quite completed my education.”
Curry has also shared this story in other interviews, including one on NPR’s Fresh Air, noting how funny and beautiful she was.
