Living Your Truth

An exploration in search of one’s  authentic self, Trade is one of the first feature films to introduce gay and transgender sex scenes on the big screen.

Trade, written and directed by Trae Briers, is a story inspired by real life events from the life of Christopher “Chris” Bryant, sibling of producer, Rubin Bryant. Chris has lived her life as a transgender woman for over 20 years—and Trae Briers felt it was time to bring Chris’ story to the big screen.

Inspired by a true story of a married man’s struggle with his sexuality, his exploration in search of aligning with his inner desires and the cascading effects of his secret lifestyle as a gay prostitute, Trade is a dark love story interspersed with witty humor that focuses on the identity struggles that gay and transgender people endure.

The cast includes Austin Miller (Days of Our Lives) T. Ashanti Mozelle (A Very Sordid Wedding) and Rain Valdez (Lopez, Transparent).

The exploration in search of one’s inner truth that so many individuals face today is played out on the screen in this bold, raw and sometimes shocking story. Trade is one of the first feature films to introduce gay and transgender sex scenes on the big screen.

Trade is available now  on AppleTV,  Amazon and Google Play.
