Rainbow Railroad

Support LGBTQI individuals living in fear and isolation due to government and police supported persecution and violence.

Can you imagine living in fear of persecution, torture or murder?

Can you imagine going to jail for who you are or who you love?

That is a reality for so many LGBTQI individuals around the world. Since their founding in 2006, Rainbow Railroad has helped more than 800 individuals find a path to safety to start a new life—free from persecution.

They help LGBT people escape state-sponsored violence.

They verify each case, learn about the circumstances of the individual facing persecution and determine how we can help.

Since their founding in 2006, Rainbow Railroad has helped more than 800 individuals find a path to safety to start a new life—free from persecution.

They determine effective routes to safety,  and connect with local contacts who can provide pre-travel and logistical support

They provide travel to their destination country and immediate, bridging post-travel support on arrival.

In addition to their work supporting individual cases, they have monitored and responded to state-sponsored violence affecting the LGBTQI community.

By making a one-time or monthly donation to Rainbow Railroad, you help them provide information, resources and financial support to LGBTQI individuals living in fear and isolation due to government and police supported persecution and violence.
