According to a report from WEHO TIMES, the news was shared by community advocate Jimmy Palmieri, who was contacted by the head of human resources at Mills’ current employer, Law360.
Palmieri further confirmed that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reached out to him to help facilitate contact with Mills’ family members following his passing.
James F. Mills was a fixture in Southern California media, known for his sharp editorial eye and commitment to local reporting. His tenure at WEHOville saw him covering the intricate political and social fabric of West Hollywood, where he became a trusted voice for residents and city stakeholders alike.
