A Guide to the Iconic Sites of LA Leather Pride 2026

Under the theme “Cruising!”—LA Leather Pride 2026 maps a week of eroticism and history across Los Angeles. From historic bars to cultural landmarks, the event follows a trail where gear culture, nightlife, and resistance have intersected for decades.

The Iconic Venues

THE BULLET BAR (NORTH HOLLYWOOD)

Acting as Ground Zero, the Bullet hosts the Kickoff and “Meet & Greet” events. A fetish staple since the 1960s, it remains a welcoming hub for the entire spectrum, from bears to puppies.

ROUGH TRADE GEAR (SILVER LAKE)

Located at Sunset Junction, this 25-year-old shop hosts the Assembly Party, a formal uniform and leather event with a strict dress code. It sits next to the Black Cat, site of the historic 1967 civil rights riots.

SANCTUARY STUDIOS (ATHENS PARK)

LA’s premier professional BDSM dungeon, frequently featured on HBO and Netflix, recently moved to a massive 5,000 sq. ft. private facility. Here, Avatar LA will be hosting their Leather Pride play-party event, entitled “SUBMIT!”, as a high-energy pre-event on March 21.

HIGHWAYS PERFORMANCE SPACE (SANTA MONICA)

The week concludes with the Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2026 Contest at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica.

Founded in 1989 as a laboratory for marginalized voices, Highways is a historic site of artistic activism and resistance.
