Principal photography has officially concluded on Before I Do, a highly anticipated LGBTQ+ romantic comedy from writer-director Gary Jaffe.

According to a report from Variety, the production recently wrapped on location, moving the project into the final stages of post-production.

The film is being positioned as a fresh, modern entry into the queer rom-com genre, boasting an ensemble cast of established stars and rising talent from some of television’s most acclaimed series:

  • Cole Doman: Fresh off roles in The Mastermind and the indie darling Mutt, Doman continues his streak of compelling lead performances.

  • Michael Hsu Rosen: A fan favorite known for his scene-stealing work in Netflix’s Glamorous and Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls.

  • Nico Greetham: Bringing his massive following from American Horror Story and the beloved Hulu series Love, Victor.

  • Robin de Jesús: The three-time Tony nominee and Tick, Tick…Boom! breakout star, who is also set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series Black Rabbit.

  • Jared Reinfeldt: Known for his roles in Gossip Girl and Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.

While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the film marks a significant step for Jaffe, whose work often explores the intersection of intimacy and humor. The inclusion of such a high-profile, diverse cast suggests a project with significant crossover appeal, aiming to follow the success of recent queer hits like Bros and Red, White & Royal Blue.

With filming complete as of early 2026, industry insiders expect Before I Do to make the rounds at major film festivals—potentially Tribeca or TIFF—before a wide digital or theatrical release later this year.
