Hamburger Mary’s WeHo, the celebrated LGBTQ+ restaurant and entertainment spot at 8288 Santa Monica Blvd, in West Hollywood, has officially earned a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. It’s now recognized as the Longest-Running Drag-Themed Restaurant in the world, reports WEHO TIMES.
The West Hollywood institution will receive its official Guinness World Record certificate today, during its popular Sunday Drag Brunch at 1 p.m. on June 21, 2025.
This prestigious honor acknowledges Hamburger Mary’s remarkable 52 years of continuous operation since its founding in San Francisco in 1972. For over five decades, it’s been serving up gourmet burgers alongside dazzling drag performances, maintaining the original owners’ passion for individuality and non-conformity.
