Trans Pride LA Returns Tomorrow, Saturday, June 14.  Free with RSVP

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, the Los Angeles LGBT Center will once again host Trans Pride LA (TPLA), the country’s oldest Pride celebration dedicated to the transgender, nonbinary, and intersex community.

The festivities, including the annual Trans Pride Block Party festival as well as the first-ever Trans Pride After Dark after party curated by TheyHouseLA will take place entirely at the Center’s Village at Ed Gould Plaza and Anita May Rosenstein Campus in Hollywood.

This additional event is completely free with RSVP.

This year’s celebration marks the 10th anniversary of Trans*Lounge and will feature award-winning author Tourmaline (she/her) as the event’s keynote speaker and recipient of the Radiance Award, alongside a special Q&A discussion with multidisciplinary artist and activist Chella Man (them/them), moderated by program host Arisce Wanzer.

Additionally, guests can also explore a special art exhibit featuring the work of neon artist, activist, and instructor Roxy Rose—receiving the Visionary Award.
