WeHo Lowers Flags To Half-Staff In Observance Of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Flags have been lowered to half-staff at all City of West Hollywood facilities in observance of the passing of Associate Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, reported WEHOTIMES.

A city official states that the flags will remain at half-staff throughout the city until she is laid to rest.

UPDATE:
The City Manager has made a determination that the flag will remain at half-staff for 27 days from the date of her passing — one day to represent each year of the 27 years Ruth Bader Ginsburg served as a Supreme Court Justice.

 

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Friday, September 18, 2020 from complications of metastatic pancreatic cancer. She was 87.
