Four California laws went into effect January 1 that give legal protections to LGBTQ people, reports Phillip Zonkel at Q Voice News.
The new laws would ensure California law enforcement receive LGBTQ training; LGBTQ seniors get equal access to services; Unmarried, same-sex receive parental protections and non-binary driver’s licenses, IDs within the state.
