On April 24, an estimated 500 cyclists will gather at Elysian Park to begin the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s inaugural “Center Ride Out.”
The 110-mile, three-day journey is designed to raise funds and awareness for LGBTQ+ services while connecting major community hubs in Southern California.
The expedition will depart from Los Angeles at dawn, navigating a route that balances urban terrain with the rolling hills of Temecula. The ride is scheduled to conclude at the San Diego LGBT Community Center, marking a symbolic link between the two cities’ advocacy networks.
The “Center Ride Out” serves as a new addition to the region’s charity athletic events, focusing on supporting the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s portfolio of healthcare, housing, and social service programs. Organized as a mission-driven trek, the event emphasizes regional unity and the continued expansion of LGBTQ+ resource visibility across Southern California.
