Trans Rocker Jordan Maye Headlines The Redwood, Tomorrow, Feb. 6

Jordan Maye

Tomorrow, Friday, February 6, 2026, DTLA’s The Redwood Bar & Grill, will host a night of high-energy rock and community activism headlined by Los Angeles trans rocker Jordan Maye.

The Lineup

  • Jordan Maye (she/her): A Berklee College of Music graduate and Atlanta native, Jordan Maye has quickly become a standout figure in the “queer rock ‘n’ roll” scene since her move to LA. Following her acclaimed 2024 debut The Creation of Jordan Maye, she continues to refine a sound that blends ’70s stadium rock with glam-rock vocals reminiscent of David Bowie. Her music is deeply personal, often serving as a “portal” into her experiences with transition, mental health, and self-actualization. Expect powerful, “Queen-sized” anthems and raw, storytelling ballads like her latest 2026 single, “The Puppeteer.”

  • Jacob the Horse: Bringing an anti-fascist indie punk edge to the stage, they are known for high-velocity performances and a sharp, DIY political spirit.

  • Origami Ghosts: A twee jangle punk outfit led by JP Scesniak. Their sound is an adventurous blend of shimmering “freak folk” and quirky, up-tempo rhythms.

  • The Pulse: An LA indie “supergroup” featuring a massive roster of members from bands like Elf Freedom, Matthew Melton, Dust Star, and The Psychedelic Dirtbags.
