KLM and Delta Team Up as Official Airline Partners for WorldPride 2026 in Amsterdam

KLM and Delta Air Lines have officially been named the airline partners for WorldPride 2026 in Amsterdam, a partnership that highlights the airlines’ long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The announcement comes as Amsterdam prepares to host what is expected to be the largest Pride event in its history, drawing an estimated two million visitors from around the globe.

The partnership is a strategic move to facilitate international travel for attendees, with both airlines leveraging their extensive global networks to bring visitors to Amsterdam.

This support is integral to the event’s success, which will celebrate several significant anniversaries: 25 years since the Netherlands became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage, 30 years of Pride Amsterdam, and 80 years of COC Netherlands, the world’s oldest existing LGBTQ+ organization.

According to a representative from KLM, the partnership goes beyond simply providing transportation. It is seen as a “natural continuation” of the airline’s mission to ensure everyone feels welcome and to demonstrate that inclusion is part of the company’s DNA.

The collaboration is a public statement of support for the LGBTQ+ community and a testament to the airlines’ shared values of equality and respect.

The official WorldPride 2026 events are scheduled to run from July 25 to August 8, 2026, under the theme of “UNITY,” which aims to celebrate both the union of loving couples and the solidarity of the global LGBTQ+ community.
