A bride-to-be has been accused of trying to put her future husband’s gay son “back in the closet” so she can have the “perfect wedding,” reports UK’s Mirror.
The woman has told the 22-year-old that she doesn’t want him to bring his boyfriend of four years as his date to the celebrations as she’s worried it will upset her family.
His dad, the groom, is extremely upset and is even considering calling off the wedding all together.
Posting on Reddit, he writes: “He came out to me when he was 14 years old and I’ve always been supportive of him and his identity.”
“I do not want to marry into a family that would potentially discriminate against my son. I love my fiance very much but my son will always come first.”
