David Hernandez Unveils Raw and Soulful Recovery Anthem “feel it all”

Former American Idol finalist and pop-soul vocalist David Hernandez has released his most personal single and music video to date, the raw and soulful anthem, “feel it all.”

The sweeping mid-tempo song chronicles Hernandez’s private journey through addiction, recovery, and finding peace through sobriety. Originally written as a form of personal therapy, he was encouraged to release it by friends who recognized the power of his story to help others.

The emotionally resonant music video, co-directed by Hernandez and Johny De, evolved beyond a personal narrative. It features a diverse recovery circle of real people from the queer and recovery communities, sharing their raw emotions in a space of shared healing.

Hernandez emphasizes the video’s purpose: to promote vulnerability and show that “Addiction thrives in isolation, but connection is the antidote.”

Hernandez, who rose to prominence on American Idol Season 7, has previously charted with hits like “Beautiful.” He hopes “feel it all” serves as a “beacon of hope” and helps those still struggling to feel less alone.

”feel it all” is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms. Watch the official music video on YouTube.
