ABC reporter Will Ganss is officially off the market! Ganss recently got engaged to his partner, Jason Sparks, during a memorable — and notably hot — proposal in New York City’s Riverside Park.

Sparks, 38, who is the senior executive creative director at RWS Global, got down on one knee next to a bench adorned with a custom Taylor Swift-inspired sign that read, “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring – Will and Jason 2025.”

Ganss, 33, a long-time “Good Morning America” reporter, shared news of the engagement on his Instagram, jokingly captioning it, “NYC’s hottest day in 13 years turned out to be pretty cool after all 💍💙.”

The couple, who met online about a year and a half ago, are both self-proclaimed Swifties. Their first date even coincidentally occurred on a Wednesday in a café, a nod to a lyric from Swift’s song “Begin Again.” The engagement ring itself also reportedly contains a lyric from another one of her songs.

While a wedding date is still being considered for fall 2026, Ganss has expressed his intention to propose back to Sparks, emphasizing that “the commitment is the same in both directions.” Sparks’ background includes choreography on Broadway, having worked with stars like Bette Midler and Hugh Jackman. Ganss quips that he still puts Sparks’ “choreography skills to work every chance I get.”
