Hundreds of fans swarmed Roberto Clemente Plaza in NYC this weekend for the unofficial Bad Bunny Lookalike Contest, a viral showdown hosted by Bronx Native and 7th Street Burger.
The event turned the “Boogie Down” into a high-energy celebration of the Puerto Rican superstar’s cultural impact.
Dozens of contestants competed for a $500 grand prize, judged on their fashion, grooming, and signature “Benito” swagger.
From vintage YHLQMDLG neon to high-fashion Western looks, the participants spared no detail in capturing the artist’s evolving aesthetic.
24-year-old Justin Conillas, whose uncanny facial resemblance and last-minute TikTok entry secured the crown.
Organizer Amaurys Grullon emphasized the event was designed to spark community joy and highlight the Bronx’s deep ties to Latin music.
The success of the gathering follows a recent wave of celebrity lookalike competitions across NYC, proving that while there is only one Bad Bunny, his influence in the Bronx remains unmatched.
