Fans of Nick and Charlie will have to wait for the page to turn before the credits roll.
Author Alice Oseman confirmed to Deadline at the London Book Fair that the upcoming film, Heartstopper Forever, will not premiere until after the final graphic novel is in the hands of readers.
Oseman emphasized her commitment to the source material’s legacy:
“It won’t be coming out before the book… It was so important to me that the book comes out first, so people can experience the end of the story in the book. The series was the adaptation, not the other way around.”
To prepare for the cinematic finale, fans should mark their calendars for the release of Heartstopper Volume 6:
