While most of the world’s leading medical and psychological organizations have long agreed that sexual orientation cannot be changed, former reality TV star Davis Mallory has, according to him, apparently achieved the impossible.
In a truly miraculous turn of events, Mallory, known from MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, has, with a little divine intervention, managed to get “pulled out of that [gay] lifestyle.”
In a stunning display of what can only be described as a modern-day testament, Mallory took to Instagram to reveal his spiritual journey.
He says that after living a “gay lifestyle” for two decades, a feat which required him to come out as a “gay Christian” on national television, he has now been “healed from trauma” thanks to some “vivid dreams from God.”
This, of course, is definitely not conversion therapy, as he was quick to clarify. No, it’s a completely different kind of “Christian therapy” that he previously spoke about in his 2013 TEDx talk.
The news has surely sent shockwaves through the scientific community, as it overturns decades of research and a consensus held by every major medical association in the world.
Who knew the answer to the complexities of human sexuality wasn’t in science, but in a divine nap?
It seems all those organizations, and countless individuals who have suffered through harmful “reparative” therapies, just weren’t having the right dreams.
