During the premiere of Celebrity Weakest Link, the new FOX game show, Chord Overstreet reunited with his former Glee cast and revealed new details about a long-standing rumor.
When asked by host Jane Lynch about a six-figure offer he received during his time on the show, Overstreet admitted, “I got asked to do a full-frontal spread in Playgirl.”
While it was previously reported that he had turned down the offer, Overstreet shocked his castmates by confirming he actually went through with the photoshoot.
He explained that he was paid for the pictorial and that it became the magazine’s biggest issue ever in terms of pre-orders. However, he claimed that his publicist intervened and had the issue “pulled it off the rack.”
The revelation caused a stir among his former co-stars, who reacted with gasps and laughter.
According to Overstreet, although the photos were never publicly released, they “are out there somewhere,” fueling a renewed hunt among fans to find the elusive spread.
