The beloved “Noah’s Arc” universe expands once more with the highly anticipated premiere of “Noah’s Arc: The Movie,” now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

Released last month, this new film marks a significant milestone, arriving 20 years after the original series first debuted, and continuing the rich narratives of its iconic characters.

Visionary creator and executive producer Patrik-Ian Polk returns to helm this latest chapter, which catches up with Noah, Alex, Ricky, and Chance as they navigate new stages of life.

At the heart of the new movie is the evolving journey of Noah (Darryl Stephens) and Wade (Jensen Atwood), who are now expecting twins. Their lives take an unexpected turn when both are offered their dream jobs, forcing them to grapple with the momentous decision of which partner will take on the role of a stay-at-home parent.

“It’s fascinating to explore how these characters have grown and changed over the years,” Patrik-Ian Polk shared in a recent interview. “We wanted to delve into themes that resonate with our audience now, and the journey of fatherhood for gay men, and the choices that come with it, felt incredibly timely and universal. It brings new layers of drama, comedy, and heartfelt moments that ‘Noah’s Arc’ is known for.”

The film also delves into Alex (Rodney Chester) and Trey’s (Gregory Kieth) experiences raising a teenager, and explores the realities of gay men moving into middle age, touching on health and relationship dynamics for Ricky (Christian Vincent) and Chance (Doug Spearman).

The original core cast members—Darryl Stephens, Christian Vincent, Rodney Chester, and Doug Spearman—all reprise their roles, joined by returning favorites like Jensen Atwood as Wade and Wilson Cruz as Dr. Junito Vargas.

The movie also features exciting special appearances from television legends Jasmine Guy and TC Carson, alongside reality TV stars TS Madison and Kennedy Davenport, among others.

“Noah’s Arc: The Movie” follows the events of the 2020 reunion special “Noah’s Arc: The ‘Rona Chronicles,” offering fans a seamless continuation of the story. Its release during Pride Month reinforces the series’ enduring legacy as a vital space for authentic Black queer representation and joy.

“The unwavering support from our fans has been truly incredible,” added Darryl Stephens in a recent press event. “To bring these stories back, especially two decades later, and to see new generations discover them, is a testament to the power of seeing yourself reflected on screen. We hope this film continues to offer that same sense of community and validation that the original series did.”

Viewers can now stream the film exclusively on Paramount+
