AIDS/LifeCycle riders dressed in red for Red Dress Day, Thursday, June 10 as they close in on the finish line, scheduled to end tomorrow, June 11.
Riders will most likely stream through Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo as early as 11am, but most of the cyclists will be come through between 1-4pm.
The closing Finish Line festival will take place at Fairfax High School. The Festival is designed to celebrate all the hard work the riders put in to make it this far. The festival will be open beginning at 11 AM so that friends and family can cheer on Cyclists as they cross the finish line. The Closing Ceremony will begin after the route closes at 5:00 PM. Enjoy music, food from a variety of food trucks (Pizza N Co., Slammin Sliders, Palazzolo’s Gelato, Greek Grub Truck, and Sumo Salad), and the company of all who were part of this incredible week.
Friends and family are encouraged to come celebrate the end of the AIDS/LifeCycle 2016 journey. Be sure to arrive early to cheer the Cyclists on as they cross the Finish Line.
Be aware that there are two main entrances to the site. Enter near Melrose Ave. and Ogden Dr. to view the Ride-In Chute. Enter off of Fairfax to head to the Festival grounds.
