In 2014, LALC established The LA30 program in order to identify supporters of L.A.’s leather community willing to make an annual commitment to assure the ongoing financial stability for the coalition and L.A. Leather Pride.
These funds are typically used to ensure the swift start to the following year’s leather pride program long before sponsorship funds for oncoming year arrive.
Preparing for leather pride is an full year process and the funding provided by The LA30 ensures that adequate for marketing, websites, and community outreach, as well as to provide a source of initial funding for fund raising events outside of the normal March, LA Leather Pride window.
Members of The LA30 have a high level of access and priority and serve as an attentive liaison between the LALC and the leather community it serves. Although The LA30 is not a governing body or have any ongoing obligations other than their contributions to the work of the LALC, they are a valuable resource for all matters related to the LALC and LA Leather Pride Week related activities.
Member of the LA30 pledge an annual gift of $250 (singles)/$500 (couples) or more. For those new under 30, there is a special limited two-years-for-one-payment arrangements are available.
