The race for the “biggest awards show by and for the queer community” has officially begun.

Queerty has announced the nominees for the 14th Annual Queerties Awards, honoring the best in LGBTQ+ media, culture, and entertainment from the past year.

The star-studded ceremony is set to return to Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. This year’s event follows a massive 2025 celebration hosted by Bob the Drag Queen, and anticipation is high as the community prepares to honor a new wave of trailblazers.

The 2026 ballot features over 20 categories, showcasing everything from mainstream blockbusters to underground viral sensations:

  • Badass: A powerhouse category featuring icons like TS Madison, Doechii, and Vivian Wilson.

  • Film & TV: Major nominations for “Wicked: For Good,”the Canadian sports-romance phenomenon “Heated Rivalry,”and the medical drama “The Pitt.”

  • Music & Anthems: Pop heavyweights Lady Gaga(“Abracadabra”) and Chappell Roan(“The Subway”) are vying for top honors, alongside breakout acts like KATSEYE.

  • Sports Hero: Featured nominees include British Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy, who is making headlines for his 2026 Winter Olympics comeback.

What sets the Queerties apart is its democratic process. “The Queerties gives voice to the LGBTQ+ community,” says Scott Gatz, CEO of Q. Digital. “It’s where queer people honor the best of the best.”

How to Participate:

  • Voting Period: Public voting is open now and runs through February 17, 2026.

  • The Rules: Fans can cast their votes once per day, per category at Queerty.com/Queerties.
