Comedian and actor Joel Kim Booster is officially counting down to his wedding!
The star of Fire Island took to Instagram to share photos from his joyous bachelor party last weekend, which saw him and a close circle of friends celebrating in New Orleans.
The getaway featured a lively, star-studded guest list, including two of Booster’s close friends and frequent collaborators: Las Culturistas Co-Hosts Bowen Yang (of Saturday Night Live) and Matt Rogers (also known for I Love That For You).
The photos shared by Booster captured the spirit of the trip, showing the group enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Big Easy. The trip follows Booster’s engagement to his partner, John-Michael Sudsina.
John-Michael Sudsina (often referred to as JM) works in the video game industry.
Booster and Sudsina met through mutual friends during a vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a location Booster fondly refers to as “gay Disneyland.” Their first night together ended with them watching the sunrise on the beach.
Booster proposed to Sudsina in September 2024 while they were vacationing in Jeju Island, South Korea.
Booster shared the news on social media with a playful and heartwarming caption: “Vacation boyfriend —-> Vacation husband. Try to be normal about this.“
The photo showed him getting down on one knee on a boat.
