The West Hollywood Recovery Center (WHRC), in partnership with the City of West Hollywood, is hosting #BOO!, the city’s first-ever free sober Halloween dance on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 8 p.m. to Midnight at the historic Log Cabin (621 N. Robertson Blvd.).
The alcohol-free community event is designed to provide a safe, festive space for people in recovery and their allies, emphasizing that “sobriety and fun can go hand in hand,” reports WEHO TIMES.

Activities: The night features a “Tacos of Terror” pop-up, non-alcoholic drinks, a “Costume Contest of Doom”with prizes, and plenty of dancing.

Purpose: According to event organizers and city officials, the event addresses the challenges holidays pose to those in recovery by fostering a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The WHRC is producing the event in collaboration with The Phoenix, Trudging Buddies, AALA, and Fun in Sobriety.
