Actor Nicholas Galitzine has officially concluded filming for the highly anticipated “Masters of the Universe”movie, shedding his “Red, White & Royal Blue” royal attire for the iconic, albeit minimal, battle garb of He-Man.
Recently released behind-the-scenes images offer the public’s first look at Galitzine in character, showcasing a significant physical transformation for the role.
The viral photos reveal Galitzine sporting He-Man’s signature leather loincloth and chest harness, a look that has quickly ignited fan excitement across social media platforms. The actor’s visibly bulging biceps, windswept golden hair, and bronzed physique indicate months of rigorous training, transforming him into the famed Eternian hero.
Galitzine’s casting as He-Man initially drew varied reactions from fans, particularly those accustomed to his more romantically inclined roles in films like “Red, White & Royal Blue,” “Purple Hearts,” and “The Idea of You.”
However, the new promotional images appear to have swayed skeptics, with many now praising his embodiment of the powerful warrior. Online reactions on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) range from effusive praise to enthusiastic fan art, with comments like, “I used to be skeptical, now I want to bend the knee to Prince Adam,” and “‘He-Man’? More like ‘Yes-Man,’ Nicholas.”
The film, directed by Travis Knight(“Bumblebee”) and boasting a $200 million budget, is set to bring the classic animated series to life. “Masters of the Universe” is slated for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026, and features an ensemble cast. Camila Mendes is cast as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, and Morena Baccarin as a sorceress.
