With the theme “The Power of Community,” Long Beach Pride™ 2025 brought thousands together for a weekend of celebration and visibility on May 17-18. The 42nd Annual Festival turned the city’s waterfront into a vibrant hub of LGBTQ+ pride.
Attendees experienced two full days of performances, art, and cultural events. Key acts included HYM the Rapper, Tori Kay, George Michael Reborn, the popular Drag Show Extravaganza, and the return of MegaWoof and The Galactivators.
Sunday’s Pride Parade filled Ocean Boulevard with colorful floats and community groups, featuring Grand Marshals, local leaders, and media partners NBC4 and Telemundo 52.
THE FIGHT magazine was proud, once again, to be a local media sponsor.
“We witnessed the incredible power of visibility, love, and shared joy,” said Interim Long Beach Pride™ President Elsa Martinez. “The energy, diversity, and spirit of this community made Long Beach Pride 2025 one for the history books.”
The festival reinforced its inclusive mission with zones such as Teen Pride, TransVisibility, Queer Country, Family Fun Zone, and a Health Hub, complemented by numerous vendors, nonprofits, and local artists.
Long Beach Pride™ remains one of the country’s longest-running celebrations, honoring LGBTQ+ history and shaping its future.
