The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to host their 12th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on Friday, June 13, at Dodger Stadium, facing off against their rivals, the San Francisco Giants. This event consistently draws over 10,000 attendees, making it the largest LGBTQ+ Pride Night in sports worldwide.
This year’s celebration will feature a star-studded lineup including Olympic champion Tom Daley and his Oscar-winning husband, Dustin Lance Black, as well as *NSYNC alum Lance Bass and his husband, Michael Turchin.
Pre-game festivities will include a kickball game in the outfield hosted by Out Loud Sports, an LGBTQ+ sports organization dedicated to community competition events. A “vogue off” competition is also planned.
Erik Braverman, the openly gay Senior Vice President with the Dodgers who publicly came out a decade ago to inspire youth, is a key figure in the event’s success.
The evening will conclude with a post-game drone show, which in previous years has honored icons like Elton John and Billie Jean King.
