That familiar icy tendril snaking down your spine signals the return of Wednesday for a second season brimming with supernatural thrills and perplexing mysteries. Netflix will unveil this chilling saga in two parts, with Part 1 premiering on August 6th, and Part 2 following on September 3rd.
A new teaser beckons us once more to the shadowy grounds of Nevermore Academy, where Jenna Ortega reprises her captivating role as the titular Wednesday Addams. And the dangers are amplified this season – anticipate knives, brass knuckles, swords, and the lurking menace of Hydes as our sharp-witted protagonist delves into her next case.
Adding to the intrigue, out actor Hunter Doohan is also back, reprising his role as Tyler Galpin, the seemingly sweet barista whose shocking Hyde reveal shattered Wednesday’s trust in Season 1.
“The most exciting thing is being able to revisit her,” Ortega, who also serves as a producer this season, revealed to Tudum.
“Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time, so to have gotten the opportunity to play her once was incredible, and then to be able to slip into the costume and tone again, it’s so much fun. She runs circles around everyone that she has a conversation with, so to play someone who’s so much more intelligent than you will ever be, it’s quite funny and strange and enjoyable.”
