Pride Flix will release Lavender Men, a narrative feature exploring Abraham Lincoln’s personal life and queer legacy, in select theaters in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and New York City starting May 2.
The film, directed by Lovell Holder and co-written by Holder and Roger Q. Mason, stars Mason (who also wrote the original stage play) as a stage manager who daydreams about Lincoln’s speculated gay love affair. Pete Ploszek and Alex Esola also star.
