State Senator Justin Eichorn
Minnesota State Senator Justin Eichorn (R), a 40-year-old married father of four, who sponsored legislation to exclude transgender female athletes from girls’ and women’s sports and introduced a bill to classify “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as a mental illness, has been arrested for attempting to engage in sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl.
The arrest exposes the mind boggling hypocrisy between Republican rhetoric, which often claims to “protect” girls and women by restricting transgender individuals’ access to sports, restrooms, and locker rooms, and the reality of cisgender men like Eichorn perpetrating sexual offenses against cisgender girls and women.
According to police reports, Eichorn believed he was communicating with a 16-year-old female and arranged a meeting.
Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges stated, “As a 40-year-old man, if you come to the Orange Jumpsuit District looking to have sex with someone’s child, you can expect that we are going to lock you up.”
