Demented conservative commentator Megyn Kelly ripped into the Los Angeles Fire Department in a manic, unhinged rant on Tuesday, calling for the firing of “obese lesbian” firefighters, reports The Daily Beast.
“I believe I speak for all females in Los Angeles when I say we want a strong man to rescue us,” Kelly said on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.
Homophobic critics have pointed to the fire department’s leadership team, particularly Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, who is openly gay, Deputy Chief Kristine Larson and training commander Jaime Brown, as the culprits for LAFD’s issues.
“These are overweight, out-of-shape women. The last thing I want to see if I’m in a burning building is a) a woman, and b) an obese woman,“ Kelly said. ”Who takes comfort in ‘I’m going to die, but it’s in the presence of an obese lesbian’? This is ridiculous.”
This is the same Megyn Kelly who declared on her Fox News show that both Santa Claus and Jesus were white.
