The annual LGBTQ Pride tradition continues with over 5,000 expected at Out on the Mountain, the official Six Flags Magic Mountain LGBTQ full park private party, on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6pm-12am.
It will be a night of thrill rides including Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, West Coast Racers; and CraZanity; live performances from Kylie Sonique Love (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 6) and Luxx Noir London (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15); multiple dance parties with Ray Rhodes, DJ SRO, and DJ Les Ortiz; and more.
The entire park goes gay for the night, which provides a safe and inclusive environment for the LGBTQ community.
Now in its 16th year, the event has worked with a number of community collaborators and supported various LGBTQ organizations over the years. This year’s event supports organizations including The OUTreach Center, wayOUT, PFLAG Santa Clarita, local GSA chapters, and many others.
“We are excited for this year’s event with record VIP sales and tremendous interest so far,” said David Fong, one of the event producers. “This is an inclusive Pride event that we get the Southern California community, as well as communities from the country and often from other countries, attending each year.”
For this year’s event, Out on the Mountain attendees may come to the park early when the park opens to the general public from 10:30am-6pm and stay or join when it becomes the private LGBTQ party, Out at the Mountain, from 6pm-12am. Attendees will enjoy Magic Mountain’s many thrill rides.
Tickets are $65 and include free parking. No regular tickets, season passes, or memberships are accepted for this special event.
