Friday marked the kickoff of RuPaul’s DragCon LA 2024, presented by World of Wonder, taking over the Los Angeles Convention Center on July 19th and 20th, reports Mike Pingel at WEHO TIMES.
The drag queen convention opened with RuPaul himself presiding over an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge Michelle Visage and surrounded by fan-favorite queens from the global “Drag Race” franchise. Among the notable attendees were Le Fil, Aurora Matrix, Nymphia Wind, Yvie Oddly, Maxi Shield, Astrid Mercury, Lina Galore, M1ss Jade So, Marina Summers, Candis Cayne, Art Simone, and Kennedy Davenport.
