During a panel last month with the main cast and crew of the first film, director Matthew López confirmed that a sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue is officially in the works, reports the Advocate.
“Yes, there’s gonna be a sequel,” López announced when asked about the possibility of a second installment.
“There’s going to be a sequel to the film,” book author Casey McQuiston added. “Matthew and I are writing it together. And that’s all we can say!”
Lead actors Nicholas Galitzine (Prince Henry) and Taylor Zakhar-Perez (Alex) are reportedly set to return for the sequel.
